Erik Olofgörs. Born in Sweden 1990. Industrial Designer.

I have always had a great interest and passion for design. My joy for the practical and creative trades have been following me through the years ever since I was a youngster – art class in middle school, social science program targeting design in high school and woodworking during my spare time with grandpa. In the spring of 2012 I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts as an Industrial Designer at Gotland University in Sweden.

I took the active initiative to study an exchange semester in Australia 2011 and a year later I worked in southern France as a Design Assistant for six months – two trips out of many that have provided me with lots of great new knowledge. Knowledge, wisdom and experience that I can only gain from traveling abroad, learning from others.

I recently completed my one year internship in January 2014 as the Executive Assistant / Craftsman / Designer in San Diego, California working with Barrelly Made It™. I continued to develop my design skills and learn more about the U.S. business model, market and culture. Improving my English while getting to know some of the most amazing artists, clients and environments. I also represented the company on events, improved sales, managed social media, and built custom and brand new products made from recycled and reclaimed materials.
